Gene made a series of bowls similar to the ones that our Norwegian Rosemaling friends loved to use. Theirs were hand-turned on a wood lathe, but Gene turned these on his potter's wheel. There is such charm in this simple but sophisticated form with reverse curves and perfectly scaled rims.
