New product from Gene, part of a "Field of Birds" series. One week he sat down at his table and created these small bird sculptures as a labor of love. He perches them on darling small jars, burnished clay with throwing rings, the marks of the potter's hands.  This is a limited edition because in his words, "They take too much time, especially the pheasants." He hopes the jars will be fun storage for food seasonings in the kitchen or on the table. 

This small container is perfect for holding small bits and bobs.  Trinkets, clips, pins, or any sort of collection will be kept safe and sound; guarded by a seagull perched atop its cork.
