Gene Tokheim explores many different traditional Norwegian bowl forms.  Early on he developed a flat bowl with different heights of rim that offered room for decoration. With Lucy Tokheim's added design the bowls evolved to seven sizes, from 4" to 9". When stacked they resemble the Kransekake: well-loved almond ring cake for weddings, confirmations, or other large events.  Although our bowls do not work for making Kransekake, they are an attractive design piece on your shelves or counters. They are extremely useful in the kitchen as both prep and serving bowls.  These bowls feature a blue glaze interior with the burnished clay outside rim.
