We had a long stretch between kiln firings this summer, which gave us a bit of leisure to do experimental work. Gene made a series of birds in both stoneware and porcelain. This long hen form is reminiscent of some of the Scandinavian ale hens we have made through the years. this one is 8 1/2 inches long- 3 3/4" tall at the head. Soft Everly Blue glaze and iron stain.
