This piece is a duplicate of one commissioned in 1993 by the Vesterheim Museum as a presentation gift to King Harald of Norway. Gene made a spare to increase the chance of a getting a perfect bowl, Lucy carved the symbols from the April 14 to July 29 from the summer side of the ancient Norwegian Primstav on the rim, along with VESTERHEIM in Roman style calligraphy. Gold glaze with burnished clay rim. The inscription on the bottom reads H.M. KING HARLAND V, USA and dated 1993.
